The Air Jordan IX was the first shoe that released during Michael Jordan’s sudden retirement. Air Jordans are typically tied to the particular season in which he wore the shoe, but with the IX it was stuck in limbo until Michael finally wore the Air Jordan IX during his Washington Wizards days. After a successful retro attempt in 2002, the Air Jordan IX will release once more in 2010;
